Art movies or movies about art?

i need a list of about 4 movies that are about art or are visually artistic for my art history class. here's the important part: i live in fargo, nd and i generally do not have access to a large library of films, so i kind of need "semi" mainstream movies (if that makes sense) that i could probably find way up here. thanks so much!

Art movies or movies about art?
semi-mainstream films about artists are Frida (about Frida Kahlo), Pollock (about Jackson Pollock), Basquiat (about Jean-Michel Basquiat), Camille Claudel (about Camille Claudel and Rodin), Klimt (about Gustav Klimt) and Carravaggio (about Carravaggio!)

The last one was directed by Derek Jarman, may be a bit hard to get hold of, but I think that's the most 'artistic' of the lot.

For visually artistic films anything by Peter Greenaway or Bernardo Bertollucci?
Reply:"A Scanner Darkly"

"The Science of Sleep"

"Waking Life"

and

"Tarnation"

"Tarnation" and "The Science of Sleep" both deal specifically with art, but visually and thematically all of these movies would be appropriate. Go check www.imdb.com and search them up!

(Also, your local public or university library will be able to help you borrow them for free via Interlibrary Loan if you can't find them at Blockbuster or another major video store chain.)
