Trying to expand the art scene here in Las Vegas. What appeals to you?

The art culture is growing here. I've been trying to find ways to make extra money and expand my artistic skills. I'm young and enjoy the urban scene: music, fashion, movies, etc. I love unique and creative styles of art. I would like to portray city life, fashion and music into my art but i dont know how many people would buy into it. I want to identify with the youth and young adults. I dont think it's ever too early for them to love art.

I was also considering producing one of a kind/limited edition artwork specifically for tourists. Mostly photos and digital work. Most of them come from Europe and Asia and they buy alot of cheap, mass made art. So why not make something better thats limited?

What kind of things would you like to see in photography, digital work, paintings, oil pastels, sculptures, pottery, blown glass, etc?

And for those of you that are young (14-25 yrs) what is the chances of you buying artwork? Especially if it isnt expensive and appeals to your lifest

If none of the answers is what you were looking for, you can post your description at these websites that specialize in identifying lost books:

I've used all of them, and had luck with each at different times. Good luck!

Reply:I like the urban graffiti scenes on canvas (painting). Not sure if it fits with Vegas, but it's really cool stuff.

I think if you got really great photos of the strip (B%26amp;W, experimental, etc) people would buy them as a memory of their trip vs a T-Shirt from Jimmy Buffett.

I am in my 30's but have been buying art work for ages. So as long as you keep the prices resoable for the tourist (and maybe also offer a packing and shipping sevice), you'll do well.
