Is torture a form of art? many countries are famous for some kinds of art IE; France and Italy are known....?

for their architect, Iran for Persian carpet, etc?

seriously which country is best in the art of torture?

CIA has been training many foreign agents the art of torture for a long time now?

isn't it about time USA be recognized by the world for our contributions to this type of art work?!

which American university would be the most appropriate to teach such an art form?

what do you think?

Is torture a form of art? many countries are famous for some kinds of art IE; France and Italy are known....?
If it is an Art then the USA is now entering a new Renaissance.
Reply:We already have schools for this "art." Remember, there is Blackwater. How powerfully satisfying to be let loose in a country of innocent people, knowing that you can practice any cruelty without penalty.

We also seem to excel in the Art of Rape, what with the lawsuit by the Texas gal who was kept in a shipping crate until she got a phone call out for help.

Yes, our accomplishment in the Arts is impressive. We are doing well in the Art of Greed, with more poor and Homeless appearing daily. Many of us are trophy holders in the Art of Debt, and the President is the Chairman of the Board, because Debt is something he believes in.

The U.S. is a newcomer in the Art of Torture, but we are learning fast. It saves lives, they say, but I suspect it also murders the soul.
Reply:There should really be no need for torturing suspects anymore because they have drugs that will make them tell the whole story of their lives and also the lie detector test. So now with all these drugs, torturing suspects should be a criminal offense and imprisoning suspects for 5 years plus without charge are just the same. Its shameful and despicable for any Americans to talk about human rights of other countries when their own are abusing prisoners a lot worse.
Reply:The Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation (WHISC or WHINSEC), formerly the School of the Americas.

"The SOA has been criticized for the participation in human rights violations of some of its graduates. Critics argue that the education encouraged such practices and that this continues in the WHINSEC.

"Defenders argue that today the curriculum includes human rights... . They also argue that no school should be held accountable for the actions of only some of its graduates."
Reply:Torture is practiced around the world but it's legal in Israel and now in the good ol US of A. Hell, "24" has brought it to the mainstream and made it a new American Pastime!
