What do you think of...art?

yeah. The questions been asked before. So what. I'm lacking any other ides here.


So what do you think of art? Just your opinion. Whether you love it or hate it or don't understand it. Find it beautiful, or expressive Or ridiculous and strange.


What I think: I love art. I guess I could describe the reason why with the fact that it's the one thing in the universe that is truly never one and the same with anything else... or that It's non-conformity in the truest form it's actually possible for it to be in. Or maybe... that there is no "norm" no normal because every artist, every piece of art be it painting or sculpture, or photo has their own style, their own individual unique imaginations and creativity... But even with all that said it's hard for me to actually explain... The best way I can sum up what I think of art is that I guess... Art to me is indefinable... and that's in truth what makes it beautiful. =/

What do you think of...art?
I love art. Truly great art will make you feel a whole range of emotions. Even when art makes me angry, I still have to admit that it is great because it served it's purpose and made me think or feel something.
Reply:An art can be a variety of things, not just a painting, photo, etc. My favorite art, however, is instrumental music. How you can express any emotion through it.
Reply:Im an artist! So....I LOVE ART I think it is one of the greatest forms of expression and most the time when an artist creating he/she HAS A MESSAGE or a certain way they want you to FEEL when you look at something they've created.....Art is amazeing.
Reply:I love that it's subjective. There really is no good or bad art, unless it's mass produced Walmart art, or you are a total snob. I love that it inspires moves and motivates, but it can sadden anger and burn.
Reply:I'm not really big into the visual arts, but the word art encompasses many things. I love sculptures when I'm at an art show. Museums wont let you feel things; they don't tend to be very handicap accessible. I also rather enjoy the audible arts.
